Condolence From: Nancy and Nick Gucanin-Gazibaric (nee Burton)
Condolence: To the Quintyn Family
Extending our sincerest and deepest condolences at this time. I will always remember the Quintyns' visiting with the Burtons on snowmobiles, curling rinks, weekends at 176 Rolph Street, travelling and PBYC meetings. Sending our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Condolence From: Blake Fewster
Condolence: While my hometown is Tillsonburg, I met Elmer in London where we were fraternity brothers at Delta Upsilon. Even though I haven't seen him since the 1950's, I still feel he was a good friend, who loved his family and loved a good time. One instance I remember was when his first child wa born. Elmer came over to the Frat house in the afternoon and we celebrated by having a pseudo-soccer game in the living room. Elmer must have enjoyed that because later that night, when we were all asleep, he came back to the Frat house, roused us out of our beds because he wanted to have another game of soccer. He was so proud of his wife and new family member and we all joined in with his celebration.

Condolence From: Larry Jeffery
Condolence: In December of 1962, at the age of 18, I tore cartilage in a knee and thus came to meet Dr Quintyn. He did an excellent job. I am now 68 and still have no problems with the joint.
I well remember how adamant he was that I wouldn't succumb to psychological limitations with the surgery. About 2 weeks into my recovery, I informed him that I had stopped using my crutches. His reaction was "It's about time." I had limped slowly into his office, but walked out almost normally.
I regret not having let him know how pleased I was with his work while he was alive.

Condolence From: The Allgood Family
Condolence: On behalf of the Allgood family from Simcoe who had the good fortune to visit and co-habit Maple Leaf Estates in Florida with the Quintyns for many years, we offer our heart-felt condolences to your family. Many beloved golfing, eating, and partying experiences were much enjoyed by Raymond, Norma, Scott, Susan, and Jeffrey Allgood with the wonderful Quintyns - Elmer and Scotty. There was much goodness in this unique man.

Condolence From: Ross Spettigue
Condolence: I never met Dr. Quintyn but, when I was a child, he was one of my football heroes as a Western Mustang. Those players among whom I number Dr. Bob Farley as a close friend, inspired me to both play and/or coach football at the high school and university level over a forty plus year career which is still continuing. Thank you, #49--I shall remember you always.

Condolence: To those us who were fortunate enough to be on his e mail list he will be forever missed as the King of Mirth.I had notice a while back an absence of daily missiles of humor and wit. I asked around and found he was in the hospital and Scotty was in a very comfortable place.May she know that I think he was wonderful and lived his life with grace and will be miss by many he provided smiles to every day.
