DAVID GEORGE YOUNG
Peacefully at LHSC University Hospital, London, on Saturday, December 20, 2014. David George Young passed away at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Clark) Young. Loving father of John David Young and his wife Mary Anne of Midland, and the late Mark Andrew Young (1994). Dear grandfather to Paul & Julia. Sadly missed by his sister Marie Bisgould of Waubaushene and brother Bill and his wife Agnes Young of Mississauga. Also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Predeceased by his parents George & Stella (Brasseur) Young and by brother-in-law Mark Bisgould. David worked with Ontario Hydro for more than 30 years in the research department and head office, was an avid R.V.’er and member of the Family Motor Coach Association, Bounders of America and Friends of Stratford Festival.
Friends will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221, on Friday December 26, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers being held at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Tillsonburg on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Father Tom Ferrera officiating. Cremation to follow. Inurnment of Ashes to be held at Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga at a later date.
