Albert Edward Young (1921 – 2015)
Peacefully, at Riverbend Nursing Home. Cambridge on Saturday, October 17, 2015, Albert Edward Young, formerly of Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 94 years. He is reunited with his late wife and best friend Doris (Leach) Young (2009). Loving and caring father of Heather Richardson and her husband Phil of Cambridge. Cherished grandfather of Brittany and Sean. Dear brother-in-law of George Coulter of Strathroy. Also survived by his nephews Matthew (Kathy) and Cole Young. Predeceased by his sister Jean Young, brother Frederick Young, sister Vivian Coulter and a nephew Brian Coulter. Albert always took pride in his work at LaPlante’s and Martin’s Auto Body Shops. He had a passion for music and singing was a great joy to him. Albert was a proud member of the St. John’s Anglican Church Choir and the Melody Makers. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Albert will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Tillsonburg on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Joyce officiating. Interment to follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. John’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family. “Peace I leave unto you.”
