Jones, James Russel -1954-2016- It is with deep sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of Jim Jones of Tillsonburg at his residence on Monday, April 25, 2016, at the age of 62. A skilled tradesman, accomplished musician, avid fisherman, enthusiastic golfer, loyal friend to many and unshakable Habs supporter. Predeceased by his father, James Frederick Jones (1976). Jim was a loving son to Doris Hooker of Tillsonburg, dear partner to Maxine Pettinger, loving father to Alex, Ben and Connor Jones of Tillsonburg, and oldest and wisest brother to Ray (Carol) of Tillsonburg, Roy (Susan) and Randy (Sandy) both of Ottawa. Jim was also a fun-loving uncle to several nieces and nephews across the country, also survived by his faithful dog Paisha. In keeping with Jim’s wishes a private family service will be held. A gathering to celebrate Jim’s life will be arranged at a later date.
