Condolence: Dear Garry and Kati

Thank you for the phone call about Alli's passing, that was very considerate of you. As you know Garry we could not come to the funeral, but our thoughts and prayers were there for your family.

Alli was a very special person, who was kind, compassionate and so much fun.

I first met Alli when I was a student nurse at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital--she was in my sister Bev's class ( both a year behind me). Alli helped us when we befriended our 6 Vietnam refugees. There were days I was so tired, and then Alli would show up full of laughter and the problems did not seem so bad after all.

Your mom and dad were our friends from our youth until to-day. we were fortunate to have had them in our lives--- so many happy
memories.

P.S. Bev passed away on Aug. 18th.--two friends leaving us within seven days.

The laughter in heaven will be none stop!

Harold and Dianne

Condolence: We will forever remember Alice's big joyful laugh and happy nature. She gave her family and her patients 110% ALWAYS. She was the most unselfish person that I have ever met and for sure the most caring nurse that I have ever worked with. She has now found her peace.

We were saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. We have many fond memories of her and shall never forget her joyous and infectious laugh. When we speak of Avondale United Church your Mother is one of the first people that come to mind. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time as you prepare to say good bye to her.
