Verle Haloice (Luce) Church (1930 – 2016)
Peacefully, with her family by her side at Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg on Saturday, October 1, 2016, Verle Haloice (Luce) Church passed away at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the Late Gilbert Church (2000). Loving and caring mother of Cynthia Eurig (Roland) of Goderich, Judy Anspach (Georg) of Eden, Lynda Church of Kitchener and Gerry Church of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandmother of Melony, Georg, Steven, Jerry, Fred, Charlie, Leonard, Joey and many great-grandchildren. Verle will also be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her 2 sons Joey and Jim Church, her parents Morley and Violet (Smith) Luce, 2 sisters Everda Palmer and Gertrude Luce, 2 brothers William and Gilbert Luce. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 12 noon until the time of the Funeral Service which will be at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Straffordville Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
