Dale Harvey Ecker 1948-2017
Suddenly, on Monday, January 16, 2017 Dale Harvey Ecker passed away at the age of 68 years. Dedicated husband to beloved wife Kirosa for 33 years. Loving father to adoring son Mark Ecker and best friend Meaghan Murphy. Caring brother to Marven Ecker and his partner Heywood MacDonnell, Larry Ecker and his wife Bea and Ian Ecker and his wife Paulette. Brother-in-law to Wilson Siu and his wife Maria, David Siu and his wife Genny and Fronia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents George and Violet Ecker and father-in-law Siu chun Lin. Dale was an avid gardener. He loved travelling and visiting family in Hong Kong with his much loved wife Kirosa. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M with Rev. Maurice Francis officiating. In lieu of flowers Dale’s family would appreciate donations to Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism or St. Paul’s United Church. Personal condolences can be sent to www.ostrandersfuneralhome.com
