Peacefully, on Saturday, March 11, 2017, Phyllis Irene Stafford, of Tillsonburg, passed away at University Hospital in London, surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was 94 years of age. Predeceased by, her loving husband of 73 years, Douglas. Supportive, and caring mother to Barbara VanDoninck and her husband Andy, of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandmother to Jody Berkelmans, her husband Karl, and their children Colin and Matthew. Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Nora Brown, her sisters’ Doris (Clare) Richmond, Patricia (Jack) Miners, Monna (Art) Ferguson, and her twin sister Gladys Brown. Phyllis was a long-time member of St. Paul’s U.C.W. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Phyllis will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Maurice Francis officiating. Interment will be at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg, or St. Paul’s United Church, Tillsonburg would be appreciated by the Stafford family.
