Condolence: Years ago, Brent and I served together on the Board of the Tillsonburg Business Improvement Area. One of our projects was a downtown Christmas tree in December. One year, we wanted to make the tree more prominent by anchoring it to the roof of the Public Library. So one night in early December, we hauled a tree and the lights to the top of Library roof and secured it. But it wasn't easy and I discovered I had a serious allergy to pine needles. We did this rooftop Christmas tree display only the one year, but the warm memory of that hare-brained but hilarious event still stayed with us over the years. In my mind, that memory will always keep Brent alive for me.

There really are no words to express the profound sadness loosing someone you love. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
This has been a long journey and you can have peace knowing that Brent did it his way....and is at rest.
I hope we see you soon when we visit "the burg".

We are so sorry to hear of Brent's passing. Although we moved away in 1999 I will always remember the many hours I spent taking Guitar lessons from Brent and chatting about music and friends in general. He will be missed.

Condolence: To Anita and the McKay family,
Anita, you and Brent put up a very brave fight over the last few years. I was sorry to hear of his passing.
On my visits to the store I was always amazed at his energy and spirit that he still held strong. His dedication to the musical community through his playing, teaching, and the store will be missed.
My thoughts are with you,
Brad Smith

Condolence: Dear Anita and family, I can't remember when I first met Brent at the music store, but he immediately became one of my favorite people. He used to laugh at me when I brought various types of musical instruments which needed fixing. It didn't matter how much time had gone by from when I saw him last, we seemed to just carry on with our conversation.

i will be thinking of you and am so sorry to hear of Brent's passing.

God bless,

Robin Lauzon

Condolence: To Anita and all in the McKay family,
So sorry for your loss. Brent was a "one of a kind" that's for sure. He was so full of life and was always fun to visit at the store. He will be remembered as a sharp businessman and a good friend to me and so many others. We always had a good belly laugh together every time I saw him. I always enjoyed my time with Brent. He will be missed.
Your friend,
Grant Russell
