Peacefully at Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg, on Sunday, May 07, 2017, Yvonne Georgette Van Acker, formerly of Straffordville, passed away at the age of 93 years. Predeceased, by her loving husband Henry (2002), and her loving son Danny (2014). Loving mother to Robert and his wife Penny of Ingersoll. Mother-in-law to Claudette VanAcker of Sarnia. Caring and generous grandmother and great grandmother to Michael VanAcker, his wife Kim and their children Tyler and Amanda; Laurie Deutsch, her husband Frank, and their children Lucas and Yvonne; Teresa Ward, her husband Terry, and their children Lindsey and Taryn. Beloved sister to Jerry Deaseure and his wife Christine, Elda Volkaert, and Emma Jean Phillips and her husband Jim. Wonderful Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alois and Irma Deaseure, brother Marcel Deaseure and his wife Dorothy.
Friends and relatives will be received at OSTRANDER’S FUNERAL HOME LIMITED, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial for Yvonne will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Tillsonburg, on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the Van Acker family asks your kind consideration of donations to the St Mary's Church Building Fund.
