VALERIE LEONE SCHWEYER (1952 – 2017)

Peacefully, surrounded by her family at VON Sakura House, Woodstock on Thursday, June 1, 2017, Valerie Leone Schweyer, of Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 64 years. Loving mother of Brent VanDenNeucker (Maaike) and Eric VanDenNeucker both of Tillsonburg. Cherished daughter of Ruby Schweyer of Tillsonburg. Proud grandmother of her grandsons Zachary, Austin, Jared, Brendan and Caid. Dear sister of Gary Schweyer (Kathy) of Kanata, Brad Schweyer (Donna) of Tillsonburg and Kevin Schweyer of Tillsonburg. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Mansell Schweyer (2001) and her brother Keith Schweyer (1978). Friends and relatives will be received by the Schweyer family at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. The Memorial Service for Valerie will be held at 1:00 P.M. Inurnment will follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimers Society or VON Sakura House would be appreciated by the Schweyer family.
