WANITA ROSE COLLINS (1938 – 2017)

Peacefully, at Earls Court Village Nursing Home, London on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, Wanita Rose Collins, formerly of Port Burwell, passed away at the age of 78 years. Loving mother of James “Kelly” Collins (Jenn Hackman) of Port Burwell and Angela Collins (Randy) of Aylmer. Cherished grandmother of Adrianna, Bradley, Chad, Amy, Joe, Rob and great –grandmother of Tyler, Kian and Keilan. Dear sister of Betty Martin (Larry) of Port Burwell, Bernie Brisseau of Port Stanley and sister-in-law of Lillian Brisseau of Leamington, Donna Brisseau of Port Dover and Wayne Shepard of Tillsonburg. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 brothers Harvey Brisseau, Richard Brisseau, Huck Collins and 2 sisters Leona Shepard and Velma Matthews. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Wanita will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Father Robert Clifford officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the Collins family.
