Peacefully, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, Doris Young, of Tillsonburg, at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Albert Young for nearly 65 years. Loving mother of Heather Richardson and her husband Philip of Cambridge. Cherished grandmother of Brittany and Sean. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 4 sisters Isabelle, Violet. Lillian and Norma. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Friday, May 15, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00–9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Doris will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Tillsonburg on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Bill Ward officiating. Interment in the Tillsonburg cemetery. Memorial donations to the St. John’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family. “Peace I leave unto you.”
