Condolence: To the Knab and Muth families: I am writing on behalf of the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business. We are saddened about Albert's death and we want to express our most sincere sympathies to all of you during this difficult time. Albert was a highly valued and respected member of our school and he will be missed a lot. The service today was beautiful and honoured Albert well. All of the speeches were a wonderful reflection of Albert’s life. I commend Marshall and Anthony for speaking at such a difficult time. Albert would be so proud. He always spoke so highly of his family that he clearly loved and admired. We miss his smile and uplifting nature. The office will be a quieter place without Albert’s debates! Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of your family and friends during this difficult time. May you find comfort in loving memories. With sincere sympathy, Friends of Albert

Condolence: So sorry to hear of this loss of the enthusiastic and ever cheerful (innovative and resourceful) Albert. I traveled internationally (to India) with Albert and saw, first hand, his absolute commitment to 'his' program and 'his' students. He was an attraction to the audience and it was always inspiring to see him in his element - here or there. He was immensely proud of his international family and we were always delighted to work with him.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to Albert's family. I just found out about his death (Aug. 15, 2017) and it saddens me deeply. I knew Albert for only two short years, during our second and third year at Glendon College but his humour, his sense of curiosity and adventure, his unconventional joie de vivre and his obvious love for his friends, live with me to this day. I am grateful to have known him, as brief as it was.

Condolence From: David Moulton
Condolence: I met Albert at Glendon College when we were both undergraduates. Bert always had a smile and he had a great sense of humour. As I remember it, Bert was one of several enthusiasts for 'traying'. You would take a cafeteria tray and race down the 'hills' behind the College. We reconnected in person a couple of years ago when he was visiting one of his sons in New Westminster BC. He and I had ended up teaching business (Albert taught at Fanshawe College and I teach at Douglas College). We had a wonderful afternoon together as we discussed our professional lives in academia. Albert was generous with his time as he met with our International Office to share his experiences with foreign students and post-degree diplomas. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss - I hoping to see Albert at a College event later this fall.
