Rick Lester (1967 – 2017)
Peacefully, after a courageous battle with illness, at VON Sakura House, Woodstock on Thursday, September 21, 2017, Richard “Rick” Leo Lester of Tillsonburg passed away. Beloved husband and best friend of Kari. Proud and loving father of Aaron Vandierendonck of London, Cole MacIntyre, Cailey MacIntyre and Jayden Lester all of Tillsonburg. Dear son of Robert Lester of Tillsonburg. Rick will also be missed by his brothers Robbie and Rodney Lester as well as aunts, uncles, his niece, his nephew and cousins. Predeceased by his mother Marie Lester (2013). Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Rick will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. Interment to follow at Rosanna Cemetery. Memorial donations to VON Sakura House would be appreciated by the family.
