Passed away peacefully, at LHSC, Victoria Hospital, London, ON, on Friday, September 22, 2017. Predeceased by his beloved wife Merna Glenda (Grass)(February 5, 2007), son Bradley (2009), father Frank Sr. (1982), mother Eva (Seliga) (2006), brother Joseph (1959), sister-in-law Gladys Mae (Wencel) Pugsley (2009). Survived by son Gary, daughter Carol (Padre Rev. Wayne Sollows), brother Rev. Jim Wencel (Nancy), sisters Liz Hisaw, Cathy Easveld (Dan), Tess Parsons (Fred), daughter-in-law Darleen (Derouchie) Wencel, grandsons Michael and Bradley Jr. and great-grandaughter Taylor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Frank had a Distinguished Military Career, serving in Korea and Germany from 1951-1955, RCA, RCR, CIC Charter member of 153 RC(Air) CS. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221), on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The funeral service for Frank will follow the visitation and be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Officiated by Padre Rev. Wayne Sollows Veterans and Service members that attend are encouraged to wear their medals.
