Obituary for Helen O'Donnell (Swan)

Helen (Swan) O’Donnell passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Helen was born on August 23, 1926 in Greenock, Scotland. She was the beloved wife of the Late James O’Donnell (2000). Loving and caring mother to her daughter Leslie Baird of Fort Worth, Texas. Helen is also survived by her family in Scotland. Predeceased by her son-in-law Harold “Warren” Baird Jr. (2007). Helen was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 153 Tillsonburg. In keeping with Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 12 noon – 1:00 p.m. The Memorial Service for Helen will follow at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the staff at Stonebridge Community Services and Woodingford Lodge Tillsonburg for their care of Helen over the past few years.
