Condolence: Dear Graham, Doug and I are just finding out about Bonita's passing. You, Bonita and Jake have been on our minds daily and we wish there was something we could have done to help you through this trying time. We are extremely grateful for having known Bonita. She was a remarkable, caring and giving person, always thinking of others even through her illness. She made us feel special, when in fact, she was the special one. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Graham. If there is anything we can do, please do not hesitate to call. Sincerely, Doug and Vickie

Condolence: To the family of Bonita Stevenson, I extend my deepest sympathy. I am just learning of Bonita’s passing. Although, she has been on my mind for some time, and I suspected that she was at the end stages of her Earthly life. I did not know Bonita personally; I knew Bonita through her posts on Our Daily Bread and her blog, In the Still Moments. Bonita’s strong faith and love of God, as well as, her grace and gift of prayer were of great comfort, peace, strength, and joy for me while I was caring for my husband who passed November 1, 2015. Bonita’s prayers, words of comfort, insight, and courage saved me on many occasions and provided me with the C.A.L.M. and H.I.M. needed to calm my fears, maintain my faith, and care for my husband. Truly God’s intervention and blessing! I thank God for Bonita and for bringing Bonita into my life when I needed it most. My Bonita Rest In Peace In God’s loving arms. And may God comfort and strengthen you.

She cherished simple pleasures, Graham you were he her rock followed closely by her pets and singing, what a beautiful voice. Bunnie was a giver and she gave all that she had and more. Condolence: I crossed paths with Bonita few times during my career in London, as a trainee back in 2002 with Dr. Andrew Kertecz and again as a faculty and researcher at Parkwood Hospital. She was an example of organization, efficiency and professionalism. She will be missed by the research group at Lawson, may she rest in peace!

Condolence From: Maria van Burgsteden
Condolence: As financially savvy as she was uniquely creative ~ Bonita was known to refer to a wieldy, perfectly balanced spreadsheet, as a work of art! Bonita’s legacy continues here at Parkwood Institute Research…through the Newsletter she began, through Endowments she coordinated yearly, through the suggestions she made when the Lawson offices were redesigned on the third floor….. A lady who loved her family and adored her husband Graham and who once said “The day I got married was the happiest day of my life”. Bonita had that rare gift of making everyone feel they were her best friend and for the moment you were with her, you were. I’m so grateful to be counted among one of them. Maria

Condolence: Dear Graham, Pat, Gary and Family, I am so honoured to say that I knew Bonita and had so many years working with her. Bonita was the hub to our small little work family and was able to keep everything running smoothly. There was never a day that I wasn't in awe of her endless energy and enthusiasm. I am so sorry that she had so much to endure, but through her pain, she was able to teach me (and so many others!) a wonderful lesson in grace and hope. I know her strong believes will guide her home and I hope that your grieving will helped by knowing that she is home and safe now. My prayers are with you all in this difficult time. Julie Duncan
