The family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Wilma Kent (nee Rutledge) of Tillsonburg, on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, at the age of 90 years. Loving wife of the late Harold “Red” Kent (2003). Born on May 25, 1927 in Wawanesa, Manitoba, a resident of Tillsonburg since 1942. Cherished mother of Darwin (Jacquie) Kent and Lyle Kent, both of Tillsonburg. Grandmother of Tyler Kent and his girlfriend Alex Steele of London, Chantel (Jordon) Harrison of Ingersoll. Proud Great grandmother of Charlotte Harrison. Wilma was predeceased by her parents, Clifford Rutledge (1934), and Mary Rutledge (nee Chambers) (1974), 2 brothers Allan and Wray, and a sister Muriel. Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m at OSTRANDER’S FUNERAL HOME LIMITED, 43 BIDWELL ST., TILLSONBURG, ON, N4G 3T6, (519) 842-5221. A Private Funeral Service for Wilma will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Karlene Brown-Palmer officiating. Interment will be held at Tillsonburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital – Dialysis Unit, or Tillsonburg Meals on Wheels.
