1932-2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret Elaine (Kennedy) Rose on Friday March 30th 2018 in her sleep at Caressant Care in St Thomas at the age of 85. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Eunice (Locker) Kennedy, and brother Cecil Carl Kennedy. Survived by her beloved husband and best friend Earl Rose of Richmond, and sister-in law Barbara (Taylor) Kennedy of Aylmer. Loving stepdaughters Marjorie Rose (Bill Rogers- d.), Penny Esseltine (Rick- d.) and Patti Vellucci (Louie). Cherished Grandmother of Alexis (Tim), Kristiana, Christopher, Great Grandmother to Theo and Charlie. Proud nephews Brian Kennedy (Kendra) and Kevin Kennedy (Maryann), great Niece Ashley (Neil), great Nephews Robert (Susan), Tristan and Sawyer, great-great Nephew Holden, and great-great Niece Rowan Margaret. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday April 5th 2018 from 6:30p.m-8: 30pm, and again on Friday April 6th 2018 at 10a.m. The funeral service for Margaret will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Friday April 6th 2018 immediately following at 11a.m. with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. Interment to follow at the Straffordville Cemetery. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
