Suddenly at his residence in Tillsonburg on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, Jim Popp passed away at the age of 74 years. Survived by his wife Mary Jane (nee Samoy). Dear father of Melinda (Trevor) Lamoure. Also survived by his sister Irene Armstrong, and his nephew Frank Benke. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Jim’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or a Charity of Choice may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements. If you were looking for Jim on pleasant days, there would be a sign posted “Gone Fishing”, which there is now.
