Condolence: We will miss our "gentle giant" Randy.....his calm confidence when he sat at our euchre table...and that "Cheshire" grin he had just before he trumped your ace! Lila and I were beaten every time. Mike...he was always his partner and got to ride Randy's coattails to victory each time.

Randy and Lila were true partners in life in every way. Their love and respect for one another was evident to all that knew them.

We doubt that we will ever eat "Jacks" pretzels, sip a Caesar, enjoy a spicy sausage, deal a hand of euchre, play a game of Yahtzee, or try our hand at cribbage without remembering our special friend, Randy

Condolence: Dear Lila, Karee and Family,
I will never forget being 11 or 12 and travelling with Karee to visit you and Randy in Vancouver. You welcomed me into your home and were so kind to me. Randy was always so boisterous and happy to be around. I know that his memory will forever be cherished by Karee and Brad and Charlotte and Ben, and all that knew him. You are all in our thoughts during this time. Danielle and Todd Manton

Condolence: I was very sad to hear that Randy passed away. I have only happy memories with Randy. The both of you took me in and treated me like a daughter. You let me live with you both. You built me up, paid for my education encouraged me, and gave me the best example to look up to as an example of what I wanted to strive for in my life.
I loved our games of boots canasta! Listening to awesome music! Having laughs. Fond memories of a Fondu party!! With a lot of giggles!! Seeing Oscar asleep on Randy.. he really loved Oscar as well.
Randy was there not only for myself and Tom but to our friends.
Loved and never forgotten in my memory..
Heather xo

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear Randy has passed , the world just became a little less interesting.

Lila, as always your words are eloquent and perfect in describing who Randy was and how he touched our lives . He was indeed competitive, but he was also so patient with those of us that were just trying to keep up with him . To me personally, he was a friend , but he was also a teacher . Whether it was in business, golf , relationships , or even just cards , he took great pride is seeing others listen , learn and succeed. Don’t get me wrong, he still wanted to win , ( and he always did ) but it always made competing with him so much fun .

Lila , I will never be able to express how much you both have impacted my life for the better . You took me ( and Heather ) into your home when I needed it most . I was a broke , 30 year old ex drummer in rock band who was trying to find a career ( that paid money ) and you both taught me everything I needed to know in the world of business, encouraged me , showed me another side of myself, you changed my life .

I wish I had a story about Randy that I could surprise you with , but I’m pretty sure you were there for them all. My fondest memories are of us all sitting down at the kitchen table ( after another magnificent meal ) with wine glasses in hand , music playing in the background, for our nightly game of “ Boots Canasta “ , usually girls vs boys . We would have the best conversations too , some serious, but mostly crazy . I remember that we laughed a LOT . Good times .

Finally, would like to send my condolences to you and family, in such a heart breaking time . I was glad to hear that Randy went peacefully, but I know you are dealing with a huge loss . Please take good care of yourself, love TW

Condolence: I was a frequent client of "Why Wait". Randy was always so kind and considerate and we had some interesting talks when he would take me to London for Doctor appointments or for short trips just around Tillsonburg. A kind and courteous gentleman.

Condolence: Lila you are in our thoughts and prayers. Randy was such a kind person. He truly cared about ever person he came into contact with. We always felt welcome and such a warmth when we were at your home. Randy has given our boys some special memories and we are forever thankful for that. Randy had a special way of using humour to brighten every situation. He showed genuine interest in each of us and our memories of him will continue to bring a smile. We thank you for this and will miss you.
Lots of love Wayne and Tammy

Condolence: Aunt Lila, I am thinking of you lots. Uncle Randy was one of the funniest, kindest people I have ever gotten the pleasure to be around. He was so funny and really listened to me. As an adult he took the time to ask me questions and actually wanted to hear my answers. Coming to your home to play bocce with Uncle Randy was one of my greatest Summer memories. From one meatitarian to another, you will be missed. Lots of love, Calvin
