Vivian “Ruth” Yorke
1923 – 2011
Peacefully, at Bonnie Brae Nursing Home, Tavistock on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 Ruth Yorke formerly of Brantford. Loving aunt to Larry and Betty Ann Schram of London; Sandra and Garry Rohrer of Tillsonburg; Lorne and Sharon Gaines of Mississauga. Ruth is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Emma and John Yorke, and siblings John, Alfred, Edna, Eva, Gladys, Mabel and Kathleen. Ruth was employed for many years with The Right House of Brantford, and Universal Coolers of Brantford. A Public Graveside Interment Service will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 12 noon, Division 2A Plot 136. Rev. Don Moore officiating. Cremation has taken place. At the family’s request memorial donations (payable by cheque) may be made to Bonnie Brae Nursing Home, Tavistock, and can be arranged by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 who have been entrusted with Ruth’s funeral arrangements.
