The family wishes to announce the unexpected passing of their beloved husband and father, Alan Roger Kirby, of Port Burwell, on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the age of 60 years. Loving husband of Melody (nee McFadden). The best father to his sons’ James and Trevor. The Bestest Grandpa to Anthony and Anabella. Cherished son to his mother Norma. Brother to Kyle, Gary (Cheryl), Wade (Clare). Uncle to nephew Wade (Amanda) and their son Lucas; and niece Elora. Loved by his mother-in-law Vivian, father-in-law David (Peggy), brother-in-law Shane (Laura) and their children Thalia and Madison. Predeceased by his father Ken. Friends and family will be received at OSTRANDER’S FUNERAL HOME LIMITED, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00–9:00 p.m. The funeral service for Alan will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Vienna. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the Kirby family.
