Obituary for Anthony James Behrens
ANTHONY JAMES BEHRENS
1980 -2022
It is with heavy hearts, our family announces the sudden passing of Anthony Behrens on October 31 in Tillsonburg, Ontario. He will be forever missed by his loving mother, Jessica VanGalen. He is survived by his sisters Bonnie Johnston & Jane Behrens, his step-father Con VanGalen, his brother-in-law Eric Johnston, his step-siblings and their families, as well as his nieces and nephew. He will be held in the hearts of our extended VanGalen family. He is predeceased by his father, Max Behrens and his Papa, Lloyd Livingstone.
Our family would like to sincerely thank the staff and his roommates at The Broadway House for their care, support, and ongoing friendship towards Anthony over the past few years.
At Anthony’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at the Straffordville Cemetery. His family would like to invite family and friends to his Celebration of Life which will be held in the evening of Wednesday, November 9th at the Carriage Hall [25 Brock Street W] in Tillsonburg from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be greatly appreciated by the family and may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221).
