Anton “Tony” Kessler
(1944 – 2019)
After a long struggle with illness, Tony Kessler passed away on October 3rd, 2019 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital in his 76th year. He is survived and will be missed by his sisters, Leny Wilson (Doug) of Tillsonburg; Annie Friedrich of Simcoe, his brother Heinz Kessler of Port Burwell, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Tony was predeceased by his parents; Adam Kessler (1979) and Anna Lemche (1978), brothers Sepp “Joseph” (1975), Hans “John” (2000), Adam (1995), Frank Kessler (1976) and his sister Barbara Reuter (2012). Tony enjoyed nature (feeding the squirrels year round) and the outdoors in general. He was true animal lover, especially when it came to dogs. He also loved watching the world cup soccer match every four years. Tony will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his smile. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to OSTRANDER’S FUNERAL HOME LIMITED, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, ON, (519) 842-5221, with visitation for Tony on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by Tony’s family.
