Barbara Jean Kennedy (1940 – 2019)
Peacefully, at Chartwell Long Term Care in Aylmer on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, Barbara Jean Kennedy passed away at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Cecil Kennedy (2016). Proud and loving mother of her two sons Brian Kennedy (Kendra) and Kevin Kennedy (Maryann). Cherished grandmother of Robert, Ashley (Neil), Tristan, Sawyer and great-grandmother of Holden and Rowan. Predeceased by her parents Ted and Margaret Taylor, siblings Shirley and Walter Halwas, Bud Taylor and Margaret and Earl Rose. Barbara will also be missed dearly by nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Barbara will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel following the visitation at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Ted Molyneaux officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Straffordville Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Research Society and Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
