1944-2023
The family sadly announces the passing of Betty Irene Chilcott of Saturday May 13, 2023 at the age of 78 years. Loving wife to Ben for 59 years. Proud and caring mother to Benson (Debra) and Lance. Grandmother to Erica and Julia. Sister to Bonnie Nichols (the late Murray), Bud Becker (Gwen), the late Bob Becker, the late Ted Becker (Caron) and the late Fred Becker (Carol). Sister-in-law to the late Gord Chilcott (Isabelle), Rosella Wilkins (the late Ken), Frank Chilcott (the late Dorothy), Eleanor West (the late George), Sandra McCarthy, the late Bill Chilcott (Donna), the late Jim Chilcott (Brenda), Bob Chilcott (Wendy), Elaine Lossing (the late Harry). Predeceased by her parents Aaron and Rita Becker. Betty loved her animals, especially her dear little dog friend Maggie. She and Ben worked the farm together for over 40 years. She will be dearly missed. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Malahide Community Place, 12105 Whittaker Road, Springfield, on Sunday June 4, 2023 from 11:00am until 3:00pm. All friends and family are welcome.
