Obituary for Brian Frederick Dulong
BRIAN FREDRICK DULONG
May 7, 1946 – July 10, 2023
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Brian Fredrick Dulong on Monday July 10th, 2023 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital in his 78th year. Brian was born in Chatham, Ontario then moved to Tillsonburg in 1961. He is survived by his best friend and devoted wife, Louise. Brian was very proud of his sons Jason Dulong (Merissa) and Charles Dulong. Proud Papa Du to his only grandchild Bennett Dulong. Brian is also survived by his sister Colleen (Roger) Gunthorpe, Sisters-in-law Mary Dulong, Glenda Morrison and Julie Senger. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Brian worked for Northern Electric then went on to work for Livingstons from 1970-2005. He retired and enjoyed spending time golfing, having coffee with friends, and spending time with his family. He was a past President of the Tillsonburg Curling Club. Brian was predeceased by his parents Charles (1989) and Mary (2002), brother’s Joe (2001) and Paul (2014), sister’s-in-law Jean Scott Dulong (2003) and Barbara Jean Valliere (2004), Father and Mother-in-Law Glen Carroll (1998) and Dorothy Carroll (2019). In keeping with Brian's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral. A private inurnment has taken place at the Tillsonburg Cemetery The family invites everyone to join them for a Celebration of Life, which will be held at the Tillsonburg Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #153, 16 Durham Street Tillsonburg on July 29th, 2023 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. please join us for fellowship and help us share in Brian’s memories. Special thanks to Dr. Ijaz and the ICU team at TDMH for their compassionate care.
