June 3, 1938 – June 23, 2023
After a courageous battle with illness, the family wishes to announce the passing of Bruce Edmond Ketchabaw of Tillsonburg, formerly of Straffordville on Friday, June 23, 2023 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Pat (2010). Bruce was a courageous and hard working father to Dwayne (Roseann) Ketchabaw; Don (Cindy) Ketchabaw; Kimberly (Joe) Ketchabaw; Dave (Jennifer) Ketchabaw. He was a proud and loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Bruce was a loving brother to his sisters’ Wilda, Evelyn and Eileen. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bruce will be sadly missed by his special friend Grace Earls. He was predeceased by his parents Howard and Dorothy Ketchabaw (nee Jones) and his brothers Harry and Jim. He will be missed by his many family and friends. Bruce enjoyed fishing, camping, reading and game nights with his family. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. The Funeral Service for Bruce will follow at 3:00 pm. Cremation will take place following the funeral service. The interment for Bruce will be held at Tillsonburg Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to VON-Sakura House, Woodstock would be appreciated by the Ketchabaw family. A special thank-you to LHSC – University Hospital and Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion.
