Obituary for Carolyn Gertrude Wilson
Carolyn Gertrude Wilson passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2022, at the Maple Manor Nursing Home at 80 years of age. She is predeceased by her parents, Mac Wilson (1945) and Myrtle Wilson (1987) as well as her dear friend June Agnes Boyd (2000).
Carolyn is survived by her cousins Wayne Harris, Garry Harris and Dennis Harris and their families. She was lovely cared for by Wayne and Joyce Harris for many years. Wayne and Joyce welcomed her into their family gatherings and she enjoyed every celebration.
She lived much of her adult life in Cambridge, Ontario where she formed many good friendships. Carolyn enjoyed many activities such as curling, bowling, and volunteering at the public library.
Carolyn felt at home living at Maple Manor where she was so well cared for. She will rest in eternal peace.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 on Thursday December 8, 2022, from 11:00am until 12:00pm with a Memorial service starting at 12:00pm. Private interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Lynedoch.
