(1975 – 2019)
Suddenly, at his home in Woodstock on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, Christopher “Chris” Aaron Carle, formerly of Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 44 years. Cherished son of Judy and the Late Craig Carle (1997). Proud and caring brother to his sister Carin Castro and her husband Mike of Hamilton. Dear uncle of Nathan and Chloe Castro. Chris will also be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. The Carle family will have a private family service at a later date. Memorial donations to Holme’s House, Simcoe may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.

You struggled with demons, too many to mention.
You’d reach out for help,
Then push us away.
You’d argue black was white
Then giggle at our confusion.
Many plans to create a masterpiece
Seem to go unfulfilled.
You preferred the company of animals over humans any day.
In this element you didn’t fit in.
I pray you found peace.
For your world is no longer
Where I can see you.
But I feel you all around me
And love you even more.

For Christopher's Mother - I did not know your dear son, and I do not know you, but please accept my sincerest condolences on your great loss. I know exactly what you are going through. As I lost my dearest son Ian 26 months ago, on his 51st. birthday. He took his own life and I had absolutely no idea he was even thinking that way. But unbeknown to us he was suffering from cancer and did not want to worry us. I was absolutely stunned when the police came to our door 2 days later. I know people say " things will get better with time etc". They all said it to me. But no matter it takes time to even get your head around it. Please never blame yourself. And your son is with his Heavenly Father now and at Peace. As I know my dear son is. I will keep you all in my Prayers And look for signs that says your son is always with you. Yours sincerely - Pat McCurdy at

I don't know if you remember me. I was Donna McGuire now Acre. Chris and and my son Joe hung out at my place with a lot of other kids. I remember Chris well and I am very sorry for your loss. Chris always tried to make me laugh and he gave the best hugs. He was fun to have around and I will always love him as one of my boys. He struggled so much. My heart is broken for him and for you.

So sorry to read of your loss of Chris.
I have fond memories of his growing up and playing around the neighbourhood with my son, Brendan.
Hope you are both well and coping with this loss. Take care.
