DAVID OAKLEY HORTON
AUGUST 11, 1946 – JANUARY 15, 2021
Suddenly, at his home in Tillsonburg on Friday, January 15, 2021, David “Dave” Oakley Horton passed away at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of the late Anne Marie Horton (2006). Special companion of Marjorie Arnott. Proud father of Chad Horton (Lynette) of Oakville, Andréa Dedrick (Jason) of Owen Sound, Tyler Horton of Toronto. Cherished “Cuppa” (grandfather) of Sydney and Courtney Horton, Alexandra, Samantha and Tyson Dedrick and “Poppy” to Natalie Arnott, daughter of April Arnott of Stratford. Dear brother of Carolyn Larson (Larry) and uncle of Stephan and Kristin, all of Winnipeg. Dave owned and operated a Nursing Home and Variety Store from 1976 – 1989. He was also the proprietor of a photo finishing shop in Tillsonburg until his retirement. Due to the ongoing Covid crisis, a Celebration of Life for Dave will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Paraplegic Association may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
