Suddenly, after an unexpected short battle with cancer, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, the family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, David Dyck of Tillsonburg at the age of 66 years.
Kind and gentle husband to Judi (nee Neal).
Soft hearted and loving father to Maggie Oliveira and her husband George and their children Sebastian and Abigail; Jason Dyck and his wife Robin and their children Owen and Noah; Chrissy Riggs and her husband Brian. Step-father to Sherry Hagemeier and her husband Brian and their children Aiden, Ethan and Owen; Shane Robertson and his wife Chrissy and their children Mackenzie and Emily.
David will be dearly missed by his 4 brothers and 3 sisters and many brother and sister-in-laws.
He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters in childhood.
David will be remembered for his love of family, gardening, golfing, baseball, fishing, billiards, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays.
Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service to be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Pastor Paul Robinson to officiate. Interment will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family, either directly to the charity or (payable by cheque) by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home.
