Obituary for Delphine "Phenie" Hayward (Laemers)
DELPHINE HAYWARD
February 20, 1929– JANUARY 7, 2022
Peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, Delphine “Phenie” Hayward (nee Laemers) passed away at the age of 92. Loving mother to Larry and his wife Joanne, Patsy Dickinson, Bettianne Joliquer and her husband Guy, Debbie Hayward and Kathy Napier. Grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving husband Jack, parents Stephen and Melanie Laemers, brothers Ed Laemers, Frank Laemers, Alphonse Laemers and sisters Mary Winne, Tillie Wright and Lena Atkins, as well as son-in-law William Napier. Due to covid limitations, a private family burial will be held at St. Lukes Cemetery in Vienna. Donations in Delphine’s memory may be made to the Port Burwell Anglican Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation and can be done by following the directions on the funeral home website or by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519) 842-5221 who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
