Peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, Donald Le Roy Smith, formerly of Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 92 years. Proud and loving father of Connie Sukmanowsky (Peter), Becki Gorman (Robert), Melanie Maclean (Graeme) and Valerie Smith. Cherished grandfather of Nathan, Eric, Teri, Madison, Zachary, Gwen, Garrett, Danielle and several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Amelia (Nelson) Smith, daughter Christine Smith (1974) and son Marc Smith (2008). Don was in the Air Force for many years. He was also a Machinist and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed gardening and birding. In keeping with Don’s wishes, a private family service will be held.
