Doreen Way
December 3, 1939 – April 1, 2022
The family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Alberta “Doreen” Way of Tillsonburg, on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Don (2015). Loving and caring mother to Sheryl Thomas (Phil). Cherished grandmother to Chris McMillan (Carrie), Andrew Johnston and Matthew Johnston. Doreen was a loving step-mother to Douglas Way (Mary), Caroline Duffus (Dave) and Dave Way (Janet). She will be forever loved by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Bertha Crossett, her loving sisters Shirley Dempsey, Lois Damphouse and her brother Don Cadman. Doreen worked hard her entire life to provide for her family. She loved her family tremendously from start to finish
A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON with a service to follow at 2:00 pm to be held in Ostranders Funeral Home Chapel, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, (519) 842-5221. Rev Paul Robinson will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Covenant House, Toronto would be gratefully acknowledged by Doreen and the family.
