Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, Dorothy Naomi (Bradt) Hendrick of Vienna, passed away at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife and best friend for 63 years to the Late Norm Hendrick (2019). Loving mother of Donna Warboys (Terry), Linda Ward (Trevor) and Gary Hendrick. Cherished grandmother of Dustin, Christopher, Courtney (Pete), Kendall and great-grandson Tyson. Dear sister of Beulah Rung, Maelene Millard, Bud Bradt (Louise), Ed Bradt (Lorraine), special sister of Sharon Hoshal and sister-in-law of Gail Hendrick, Rosaire Sterling and Harold Kaufman. Dorothy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Lucinda (Taylor) Bradt, her daughter Norma Warboys, son-in-law Wayne Warboys, granddaughter Breanna and sisters Betty, Geraldine and Beatrice. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, travelling with Norm to all the baseball and hockey tournaments. She spent many hours coaching her daughter’s baseball teams and was very involved with watching her grandchildren’s figure skating, baseball and hockey games. Dorothy was also an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan but most of all, Dorothy loved hosting family events. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 2:00- 4:00 pm & 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service for Dorothy will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Buck Buchner officiating. Interment will be held at St. Luke’s Cemetery in Vienna. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
