EDITH MAE WEIR (1937 – 2020)
Peacefully, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, April 16, 2020, Edith Mae (Messenger) Weir of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Noel Weir (February 2020). Proud and loving mother of Kevin Weir (Karen Johnson) of Alberta and Kim Bruckler (Greg) of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandmother of Jordan Bruckler (Kerilyn), Ryan Bruckler, Aaron Weir (Jill) and great-grandmother of Kashious and Cohen Bruckler. Dear sister of Jean Britton. Edith is also survived by her nieces and her nephew. Predeceased by her brother George Messenger, sister-in-law Joy Messenger and brother–in-law Bill Britton. In keeping with Edith’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal service at this time. Memorial donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or Canadian Celiac Assoication may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with Edith’s arrangements.
