EDNA MARIE (KNECHTEL) FITCH
(1931 – 2022)
The family of Edna Marie (Knechtel) Fitch is saddened to announce her passing at the Tillsonburg District Hospital on Thursday January 27, 2022, at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of John for 67 years. Proud and loving mother of Edward (Joy), Keith (Lynn), Phillip, Angela Fitch and mother-in-law of Ross LeClair. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bob Knechtel (Shirley) and Joyce Scott. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Lynn LeClair, parents Clifford and Elva Knechtel and brothers and sisters. In keeping with Edna’s wishes, cremation has taken place with private family arrangements. Inurnment at the Tillsonburg Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Ontario Society for Crippled Children may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the care of the Fitch family.
