Peacefully, with his family by his side at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with illness, George Jennings, of Frogmore, passed away at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Lynn (Staley) for 55 years. Proud father of Shawn Jennings (Gisele), Melissa Stevenson (John) and Chris Jennings (Sarah). Cherished grandpa of Danielle (Tom), Andrew (Sandy), Jason (Kristen), Joshua, Alex, Abigail and great –grandpa of Hayden, Charlotte and Colter. Dear brother of Alice Miller, Jack Jennings (Jackie), Bessie Simpson (Glenn), Ann Lindsay (Don) and Ralph Jennings (Karen). George is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Nellie (Livingstone) Jennings, his brother Jim Jennings (Rose) and brother-in-law George Miller. George was a dedicated employee of Reid’s Precast in Frogmore for 52 years. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service for George will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Ted Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Kinglake Cemetery. Memorial donations to PSP Society of Canada would be appreciated by the Jennings family.
