Peacefully, at her daughter’s home in Tillsonburg surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, December 27, 2020, Esther Marguerite (Holman) Porchak, formerly of Brownsville, passed away at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Porchak (2011) for 53 years. Proud and loving mother of Cheryl Dans and her husband Mark of Tillsonburg and Brad Porchak and his wife Katie of Brantford. Cherished grandmother of Emma, Matthew, Kaleigh and Kauna. Dear sister of Dick Holman (Pat) of Tillsonburg, Ed Holman of Brownsville, Lynda Tisdale of Chatham, Rose Dopp (Jean-Guy Michaud) of Chatham and Doug Holman (Maria) of Tillsonburg. Esther is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Evelyn Holman, brothers Bobby and Murray Holman, sisters-in-law Marion and Helen Holman and brothers-in-law Verne Tisdale and Paul Dopp. We are sorry to report that due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, there can be no community visitations or public funeral. A private family funeral service will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. and will be live streamed through the link provided by our website. A private interment will follow at the Springford Cemetery.
