Obituary for Francois P. "Frank" Williams

FRANCOIS “FRANK” WILLIAMS
May 26, 1935 – March 5, 2022
In the early morning of March 5, 2022 our beloved Franky passed away peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. He was 86 years of age.
Frank was born in Neguac, New Brunswick. Son of Aime and Clara Williams. He has left us to be reunited with the Love of his Life and Wife of 51 years, Christine (nee Cnudde).
He was a loving father to Caroline Smith and her husband Jeff Smith. Dear brother to Luke (Mildred) and in laws Joan Williams, Francine Sioen, Peter and Magda Watts, Henry and Rosette Justus.
Predeceased by brother Adolphe (Lucienne), Leo (Bridgette), George (Charlotte), David and Edgar as well as brother and sister-in laws Willy Sioen and Luke and Blanche Sioen.
Sadly, missed by many nieces and nephews.

Dad was always hardworking and travelled across Canada as a young man before settling in Delhi. After 30 years of service he retired from TDS.

Dad loved the game of golf and at an early age he taught me how to play. We were inseparable golfing partners. His accomplishments included Club Champion and a “Hole in One” just to name a few.

Dad loved to play cards and WIN! Which he almost always did. He was a competitive player but also very gracious.

Dad spent his last 5 years at Woodingford Lodge in Tillsonburg where he lived with Alzheimer’s Dementia. He loved all of the staff. We became a family and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Roth and all the wonderful people who work there for making my Dad’s last years happy and full of love. I’m guessing that Dad is looking for our pretty dresses then heading to the nearest golf course in his black caddy.
DAD: Your love, your patience, your understanding, your wisdom and your amazing sense of humour will live inside of me forever. You have given me gifts that are more precious than anything in this world. Dad, you will always be in my heart. (Your Little Girl).

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Woodingford Lodge Recreation Department, Tillsonburg and can be done by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519) 842-5221. Personal condolences and special memories may be shared at www.ostrandersfuneralhome.com
