NOVEMBER 28, 1953 – FEBRUARY 5, 2020
Peacefully, at his home in Eden, surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, Fredrick “Fred” Percival Kingsbury passed away at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 46 years to Judy (Law). Proud and loving father of James Kingsbury (Angela), Mark Kingsbury (Misty Roy) and Michelle Kingsbury. Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Rachael, Carter, Megan, Brandon, Morgan, Dominic, Alexander, Emma, Gracie and great-granddaughter Elizabeth Rose. Dear brother of Florence Roswell, Archie Kingsbury (Brenda), Ron Kingsbury (Katie), Ruth Winters (Dave), Edna Carroll (Russell), Brenda Lee (Ron) and step-sisters Joanne Laing (Art) and Diane Kraftscik. Fred is also survived by his mother-in-law Lillian (Law) Biro (Alex) and brother-in-law of Marlene Young (Brad), Gail Monk (Dan), Lorna Malcolm (Daryl), LeaAnn Scott (Jim). Fred will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Percival and Leota (Cowan) Kingsbury, step-father Seymour Hurley, father-in-law James Law, nephew David Kingsbury and brother-in-law Ed Roswell. Fred was a longstanding member of First Baptist Church in Tillsonburg. He was an Owner/Operator that travelled from coast to coast with his wife, Judy by his side and this turned out to be the greatest time of his life. In keeping with Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The Memorial Service for Fred will be held at the Lion’s Auditorium, Tillsonburg Community Centre, 45 Hardy Ave., Tillsonburg on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Steve Amorin officiating.
