Geneviève Marguerite Jeanne D'Arc Marie Huard
March 17, 1980 - November 30, 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Geneviève on November 30th, 2023 at the age of 43 after a brief illness.
Beloved daughter of François Huard and Beverley Sarazin, cherished sister of Brigitte (Chris O'Hoski) and Caroline (Dino Papas). She was a treasured niece, cousin and friend to many.
Geneviève was born in Ottawa and grew up in Québec and Ontario. She completed her studies in Community and Justice studies at Sheridan College.
She was empathetic, perceptive, witty, smart, kind- hearted, willful, adventurous, beautiful, and profound.
As is the case for many a sensitive soul, Geneviève was a dreamer who felt things deeply. She sought connection and distraction in equal measure and for relief from the pressures of reality, she latched onto ominous means of escapism eventually leading to her passing.
May memories of better days with her give us strength.
May she rest in peace and be free.
