GEORG WOLF
FEBRUARY 23, 1927 – FEBRUARY 24, 2022
Born in Gross-Schogen, Romania on February 23, 1927 to Michael Wolf and Rosina Toper. Georg was the 4th of 9 children. Georg met the love of his life Maria Bolterauer and they immigrated to Canada in 1952 when Georg was 25 years old. Together Georg and Maria were able to purchase their own tobacco farm in 1962 where they grew tobacco until 1980 when they retired to gardening and their devotion to their church. Georg is predeceased by his loving wife Maria (2018). Devoted father to the late Helmut and his wife Helen, Bill Wolf and his wife Liz, Mary Geisel, Annie Dierick and her husband Jeff, Georgina Vincent and her partner Andy. Proud grandfather to the late Ben, Jennifer (Mike), Bret (Kerry), Ryan (Paige), Lindsay (Ryan), Kandice and Shayne. Great grandfather to Caycuse, Parker, Pierce and Colton. Brother in law to Sophie Wolf and Ray Stoyles. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Rosina, brothers Michael and Daniel and sister Rosie.
Family and friends will be received at Peace Lutheran Church, 60 Young Street, Tillsonburg on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. All guests must wear masks and remain socially distant. Guests are asked not to attend if they are ill or under isolation.
The Funeral Service for Georg will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 60 Young Street, Tillsonburg on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Paul Schallhorn officiating. All guests must wear masks and remain socially distant. Interment will follow at the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
