The family sadly announces the peaceful passing of their beloved husband, father, Pa Pa (Grampa), George Edward “Ted” Lawson on April 22, 2024 at the age of 83 years. Loving husband to Violet. Proud father to James and Mark Lawson and Connie and James Moore. Pa Pa (Grampa) to Ashley Crotta, Grace Lawson, Mathew Lawson, Kelly Lawson and Lauren Lawson. Brother to Betty Gasionek. Predeceased by his first wife Edith (Spiers), parents Arthur and Edna and brothers Dave and Doug Lawson.
Ted enjoyed old cars, antiques and finding a rare item at a yard sale. Ted enjoyed his life, spending time with his family who were most important to him.
A private visitation will be held for Ted at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 with a graveside service at Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Ted can be to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and can be done online directly with the charity or via cheque payable to the charity by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home.
