GEORGE WAYNE SHEPHERD (1943 – 2020)
Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg on Friday, March 13, 2020, George Wayne Shepherd, formerly of R.R. # 4 Aylmer passed away at the age of 76 years. Beloved Husband of the late Leona Shepherd (2010). Proud and loving Father of George Jr. of Eden, Shirleen Ottaviano of Port Colborne, Wayne of Springfield and Duncan (Tammy) of R.R. # 4 Aylmer. Cherished Grandpa of Ivan, Olivia, Steven, Amanda and Tyler. Dear Brother of Sharon Smith of Aylmer. Predeceased by his parents George and Bernice (Farrington) Shepherd. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service for George will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 11:00 am with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at the Eden Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the Shepherd family. Special thank you to the entire staff of Maple Manor Nursing Home for their compassion and care.
