It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gerrard Charles Clergy on July 11, 2023 at Parkwood Veterans Hospital, London. Gerry was born in Musquodoubit Harbour Nova Scotia. He is survived by his children David (Marg) and Margaret Stegner (Ben). His grandson Gerry Clergy (Brittany) and his great grandchildren Caleb and Julius, also survived by a sister Frances, his cousin Mary and many nieces and nephews throughout Ontario, BC, Nova Scotia, Maine and Germany.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne Dudka (1976), his daughter –in- law Mary Lise (2007), his parents Charles Clergy and Margaret (Drake), his sisters Madeline, Effy, Marian and a brother Rod.
In keeping with his wishes, Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tillsonburg on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 am with Father Seejo John officiating. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Stellarton, Nova Scotia where he will be laid to rest at Lourdes beside his beloved Anne.
Gerrard’s beloved families, on both sides, meant everything to him. There were many good times spent together.
