GLORIA RUTH STEPHENSON (1924 – 2019)
It is with great sadness that the family of Gloria Ruth (Wolf) Stephenson, formerly of Port Burwell, announces her passing at Valleyview Home in St. Thomas on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the Late Frank Stephenson. Proud and loving mother of Joe Stephenson of Port Burwell, John Stephenson (Debbie) of Port Burwell, and Mary Beth Stephenson (Ken) of Port Burwell. Cherished grandmother of Shawn, Robbie, Michelle, Craig, Trevor, Mark, Luke and great-grandson Jeffrey, Nikolas, Sofia, Ethan and Aster. Dear sister of Richard Wolf of California and Marilyn Holmes of South Carolina. Gloria is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ernst and Gladys (Empey) Wolf, her son Timothy Stephenson and sisters Katurah Barber and Norma Teague. Friends and relatives will gather at Trinity Anglican Church, 25 Pitt Street, Port Burwell on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. The Funeral Service for Gloria will follow at 12:00 pm with Rev. Kendall Reimer-Johnston officiating. Interment will take place at the Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery. Memorial donations to the ALS Society, Trinity Anglican Church or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the Stephenson family. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Valleyview Home for their compassion and care for Gloria over the past four years.
